Sunshine’s Macro Monday #28

Other than moving my site for Sunshine’s Macro Monday, nothing else has changed.  After a week of gray skies in the Midwest, I am in need of a bit of color so here you have a bright red tulip.  What is your macro contribution for this week?

What is macro photography?  Basically, macro photography is capturing small subjects with larger than life results. A true macro shot could be anything magnified at a ratio of 1:1 or higher.  For the purpose of this challenge, we will not be strict with the 1:1 rule.  I am more interested in people having fun looking for the details, whether it is true macro or close-up photography.  A macro lens is not a must.  Great results can be obtained with whatever zoom lens and camera is on hand.

Everyone is welcome to join in with one or more macro or close-up shots each week.  Create a pingback or add a link in the comment section below. Even though this is a Macro Monday Challenge, feel free to post your macro shots any time through the week.

    1. Were you following me before today I made the change? My followers should have migrated with the site so you should not need to follow me again. Let me know if that is not it and I will check, okay? 😊

      1. Okay, I will. I was following the old site. I’m used to when I hit ‘follow’ it comes back with ‘following’ – this site is different – hitting follow opens the home page.

      2. I have been looking at it since I read your comment. Not sure that it is doing what it is supposed to do. I will research a bit more. Thanks for the heads up.

    1. Good morning, Teresa. Your comment came through and you are not alone in thinking that it might not have. I have thought the same thing when leaving a comment for someone else and i didn’t get a confirmation. Then I went to their site and saw it pop up. Might be one of the quirks of being on a self hosted site now. Sorry about the confusion. 😊
