Sunshine’s Macro Monday #35

Anxiously waiting on warmth, flower blossoms, and insects flying about everywhere.  For this week’s Sunshine’s Macro Monday, I am sharing an image taken last summer.  Now it is your turn to share your link or pingback in the comments below.

What is macro photography?  Basically, macro photography is capturing small subjects with larger than life results. A true macro shot could be anything magnified at a ratio of 1:1 or higher.  For the purpose of this challenge, we will not be strict with the 1:1 rule.  I am more interested in people having fun looking for the details, whether it is true macro or close-up photography.  A macro lens is not a must.  Great results can be obtained with whatever zoom lens and camera is on hand.

Everyone is welcome to join in with one or more macro or close-up shots each week.  Create a pingback or add a link in the comment section below.

    1. Oh, no! It is a little cool and gray here but no snow. Maybe you can get in a few macro shots of snow? 😁 Hope you have a wonderful day in the snow. 😊

    1. Thanks. Never realized how pretty flies could be until I tried macro photography. Your pingback has not come through. I looked at your site and it looks like the pingback on your post is actually going to one of your previous posts. Try again, maybe? 😊

      1. Hey, just checked. Yes, the pingback is right but it has not shown up on my post as a comment. Not sure why that happens. Sometimes they seem to go to a lost world of WordPress pingbacks. 😁 Try leaving a link so that no one misses seeing your post, okay? Thank you.

    1. Pretty! Are the first two photos the same blossom with different camera settings? Even though it seems like maybe the same flower, the end result is quite different in each. Liked them both. 😊

      1. Yes, the first was just accidental, I don’t even know how it happened haha. But I thought might as well share it. Thanks for the comment.

    1. Thanks. Your image reminded me that I often forget to shoot from a different angle. Going out to look from below today. 😁

      1. Thanks Irene, I just think it’s a shame that there is so little or no resonance between them. I also try to leave comments or likes. I don’t speak English either, so I understand it well, otherwise I use a German / English translator …

        Have a nice week!!!

        xxx Britta

      2. I appreciate your comments and likes, Britta. Your comments are well written that I would have never guessed that you don’t speak English. I used to understand a few German but I think I’ve forgotten most of it. Hope you have a wonderful weekend as well. 😊
