    1. Love your comparison to a large lensball! Perfect description. This is probably the most photographed spot in downtown Chicago and it is usually packed with people taking selfies. Had to get there before sunrise to avoid the crowds. 😁

      1. It paid off! I’ve only flown into Chicago. I’ve never been out of the airport. One of these days. I want to go to a Cubs game among other things. πŸ™‚ Now I have to see the bean! LOL!

    1. According to Wikipedia, it was designed by Anish Kapoor and the result of a design competition. Seems like it was made from 168 steel plates welded together on site and dedicated in 2006. Thinking that I will dig into its history a bit more. 😊
