Sunshine’s Macro Monday #43

What do you do when outdoors and the sunshine is too bright for landscape photography? Get in close and try some macro photography! At least, that is what I did for today’s Sunshine’s Macro Monday. Now it is your turn.

Light and Shadows 5.24.20

What is macro photography?  Basically, macro photography is capturing small subjects with larger than life results. A true macro shot could be anything magnified at a ratio of 1:1 or higher.  For the purpose of this challenge, we will not be strict with the 1:1 rule.  I am more interested in people having fun looking for the details, whether it is true macro or close-up photography.  A macro lens is not a must.  Great results can be obtained with whatever zoom lens and camera is on hand.

Everyone is welcome to join in with one or more macro or close-up shots each week.  Create a pingback or add a link in the comment section below. Mention Sunshine’s Macro Monday on your post and tag your post SMM.

I love Mondays.  One reason is that I get to enjoy your macro shots once again.  For this week’s challenge of  Sunshine’s Macro Monday, an unfurling cosmos bud grabbed my attention as I was looking through my files.  Now, it is your turn.  Let’s see what you’ve got.
